Our school recently embarked on a fascinating journey that involved receiving fertilized eggs and incubators from the amazing Rachael Hamilton. This has allowed us to witness the incredible miracle of life firsthand.
On May 31, we received a special delivery from Rachael Hamilton, who generously provided us with fertilized eggs and incubators. The anticipation was palpable as she carefully prepared the incubators, ensuring the optimal temperature was maintained.
Over the next few weeks, we eagerly monitored the eggs. The waiting game may have felt long at times, but it was worth every second of anticipation.
And finally, on June 18, the moment we had all been waiting for arrived. The incubators began to show signs of life as tiny cracks appeared on the eggs’ surfaces. Excitement filled the air as we arrived at school on Monday morning and our first chick had hatched. It was a truly remarkable experience for our students and staff alike as the rest of the eggs took their turns hatching.
The sight of those fluffy, adorable creatures brought joy and wonder to all who were fortunate enough to witness their arrival. It’s incredible to witness how these small, vulnerable creatures enter the world and grow rapidly into lively, independent beings.
This unique opportunity has provided our students with an invaluable learning experience. They have been able to observe the life cycle of a chicken up close, gaining a deeper understanding of biology and the interconnectedness of all living things.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Rachael Hamilton for providing us with this wonderful opportunity. Gilakas’la Rachael Hamilton for this unforgetable experience.
