Our school garden has been planted. Volunteer, Diana Bichel, planted seeds in all the boxes. We have beets, scarlet runner beans, bush beans, onions, potatoes and Romaine lettuce.

The garlic and celery that was planted last year overwintered well and will soon be ready to harvest.

Mrs. Bragan’s class planted potatoes which are thriving as you can see from the photo below.

The Sitka Spruce has new green tips that are high in vitamin C. They can be harvested and eaten fresh or used to make tea.
